The Price of Gas in France

My dad has just come back from vacation and here's the first email I got from him after his trip to Vancouver:

                  

A thief in Paris planned to steal some paintings from the Louvre.

After careful planning, he got past security, stole the paintings, and made it safely to his van.

However, he was captured only two blocks away, when his van ran out of gas.      

When asked how he could mastermind such a crime, and then make such an obvious error, he replied, "Monsieur, that is the reason I stole the paintings.
I had no Monet
To buy Degas

To make the Van Gogh."

Do you have De Gaulle, to send this on to someone else?

I sent it to you, because I figured, I had nothing Toulouse.

Fishing Ambush

My dad doesn't go fishing much anymore, but as a kid I was being dragged off on fishing trips on a regular basis. So I'm not surprised he's sent this video to his mailing list. Just like how fishing works in real life, you're going to have to wait a tiny bit for anything to happen in this video. Your patience will pay off at the end. Fortunately for you, you only need to wait about 20 seconds, instead of the many hours I endured as a kid!

A Blonde and her Jaguar

Here's one of my dad's recent jokes:

Carolyn, a very rich blonde, buys a new automatic Jaguar XKR Sports car.

She drives the car perfectly well during the day, but at night, the car just won't go at all.

After trying to drive the car at night for a week (but without any luck), she furiously calls the Jaguar dealer, and they send out a technician to her.

The technician examines the car and finds nothing wrong with it.

So he turns to the blonde and asks: "Ma'am, are you sure you are using the right gears?"

Full of anger, the blonde replies:

"You nut, you idiot, how on earth you could ask such a question? I'm not stupid you know! Of course I am using the right gears;

I use "D" during the day

and "N" at night."
